Venerable Chinedu Onah is the Archdeacon of Aku Archdeaconry and the Vicar, St. Thomas Parish Aku. He was born on November 23, 1970, to Catechist Elijah and Mrs. Patience Onah of Aguamede Adda, Obollo-Etiti in Udenu L. G. A. of Enugu State. Due to his father’s role as a catechist, he attended various primary schools between1976-1982. He obtained his senior School Certificate in 1989.
Ministry Journey
-Employed as a Church Teacher in 1990 under the Enugu Diocese, posted to St. Stephen Church Anuka. In 1992, he was transferred to St. Peter’s Church Okpuje, and in 1994 January he was transferred to St. Peter’s Ozzi Edem..
He gained admission into Trinity Theological College, Umuahia, for ordination training in September, 1994.
Ordination & Preferment
In 2008, He attended the Nigeria Institute of Intercultural Studies in Ibadan for mission training. He later proceeded to Bethany International University in Singapore for further training in Missions and Intercultural Studies. Upon his return in 2010, he became the Rector of the Diocesan Mission Training Institute, Bethsaida Institute of Leadership and Missions. (BILEM)
