The Anglican Diocese of Nsukka has officially launched Vision 2035: The Way Forward, a strategic roadmap aimed at transforming the diocese spiritually, structurally, and socially over the next decade. The grand unveiling took place at the diocesan headquarters, drawing clergy, laity, and key stakeholders committed to the church’s growth and mission.
In his keynote address, The Rt. Rev. Aloysius E. Agbo, the Lord Bishop of Nsukka Diocese, emphasised that Vision 2035 is a divine mandate to reposition the church for greater impact. He highlighted its focus on evangelism, youth empowerment, infrastructural development, digital transformation, and social responsibility.
“This vision is not just a dream—it is a call to action. We must equip our members, strengthen our institutions, and expand our mission outreach to ensure the next generation experiences a stronger and more vibrant church,” Bishop Agbo stated.
The event also featured the unveiling of key strategic initiatives, including the establishment of new mission fields, the expansion of diocesan schools, and investments in youth leadership and vocational training. The Vision 2035 Committee, tasked with implementing the roadmap, was formally introduced, with a charge to drive the diocese towards sustainable growth and kingdom expansion.
