My name is Innocent Onyekachi Diyoke Melchizedek, a native of Aku in Igbo Etiti Local Government Area. Born to Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Mary Diyoke as the fifth child, I was raised in a strong Catholic background before experiencing a spiritual transformation through the ministry of Scripture Union, Adani group. This encounter led me to embrace a new path in Christ and join the Anglican Church in 2008. Since then, I have served passionately in various roles, starting with Scripture Union where I held positions such as Secretary, Prayer Secretary, Evangelism Coordinator, and Usher. My journey of faith deepened as I took on greater responsibilities within the Anglican Church, including two tenures as AYF President at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Adani, a Synod Delegate in 2015, Bible Study Teacher from 2012 to 2017, Choir Member, SOMAYCO Archdeaconry Coordinator in 2023, Parish Football Coach and Coordinator, and Church Committee Member. I was also a Diocesan Bible Study Leader and currently serve as a Lay Pastor at St. Philip’s Anglican Church, Iga-Okpuje.
My ministry experience extends beyond one parish. I’ve contributed actively to New Bethel Anglican Church, Odenigwe, as an Exco Member and Follow-up Coordinator, and was a committed member of the Scripture Union Campus Fellowship at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) from 2018 to 2023. Throughout these years, I have served as an evangelist to Anglican churches and various denominations, carrying the message of salvation wherever I was called. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree from UNN’s Faculty of Education, and through both academic and spiritual learning, I continue to grow and serve with passion and humility. My life is anchored in the call to minister, teach, and strengthen the body of Christ through evangelism, discipleship, and service.
