Ven. Ephraim Ikechukwu Asogwa

Ven Ephraim Ikechukwu Asogwa is from Amaechenu Village in Eha-Alumona, Nsukka LGA. His parents, Aaron and Bessey Asogwa, lived for 29 years with no child in their marriage before a Catechist prayed for them and miraculously, they had Ephraim born to them on 30th August, 1969. They vowed to give the baby to God during the Mother’s pregnancy which they fulfilled at his dedication and baptism.
After his Secondary School Education, his mother told him the story of his birth and the vow she made like Hanah.
He quickly gave in to God and started as a full time Church Worker at St John’s Church, Akwari on 1st October, 1989 and left for Ordination Training at Trinity Union Theological College Umuahia, Abia State on 7th September, 1991.
