The Rev. Canon Amb. Ifeanyi Chukwu Abednego Isiwu, DR-FIGPCM, is a distinguished cleric of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), hailing from Owerre-Okpu, Orba, in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State. He is the second child of Mr. Sylvanus Okeke Isiwu and Mrs. Felicia Lebechi Isiwu.
Rev. Canon Isiwu holds a Master of Arts degree in New Testament Studies from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he is presently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the same discipline.
In recognition of his commitment to peacebuilding and global advocacy, he was admitted as a Doctoral Fellow of the Institute of Global Peace and Conflict Management, Abuja, and on the 5th of April, 2025, was awarded the esteemed designation of Certified Global Peace Ambassador. He is also a Licensed Global Peace Diplomat and Certified Consultant in Peace and Security.
Within the Diocese of Nsukka, he faithfully serves as the Vicar of Eburumiri Parish, the General Secretary of the Nsukka Diocesan Clergy Association, and the Chaplain to the Diocesan Women’s Ministry, where his leadership continues to impact the lives of clergy and laity alike.
He is happily married to his beloved wife, Mrs. Blessing Happiness Isiwu (née Eze), a scholar with a Master’s degree in Plant Pathology. Their marriage is graciously blessed with three children: Testimony, Blossom, and Glory
