Ven. Kingsley Obeta hails from Okutu in Nsukka LGA, Enugu State. He is happily married to Mrs. Ifeyinwa Fidelia Obeta and blessed with 4 children (3 girls and a boy – Onyinyechi, Nmachukwu, Chimemerie and Chimkauso).
Kingsley became born again in April 1992 but had clarity of his walk with God 2 years later (1994) all in Rivers State. He became a vibrant evangelist, ministering in crusades, conferences and other programmes. He transversed the the States of Riverse and Bayelsa with the gospel, lunching missions into the hinter lands. He was part of the Rivival that overtook Ikwerre Land.
He answered the call into pastorate in 2002 and left Rivers for Nsukka according to divine instruction. He arrived Nsukka in January, 2004 and continued his commitment to the Great Commission. He has served at Emmanuel Church, Ukopi; Emmanuel Church, Nkalagu Obukpa; Christ Church, Ibeku Opi; St. Andrew’s Churc, Ibagwa-Aka; St. Mark’s Church,Umuopu; St. Paul’s Cathedral Nsukka; St. Michael’s & All Angels, Owerre Obukpa; Church of the Pentecost, Agu-Echara Nsukka; St. Matthew’s Church Ekwegbe; St. Luke’s Church Nsukka, among other places mission has taken us to.
Kingsley is a Master Degree student, preparing for his defence. He holds B.A,Rel., B.Th., Dip.Th., PGDE. He has some published books and articles.
Some leadership positions held include Bishop’s Administrative Assistant; Chaplain to Women Ministry, Young Anglican Crusaders, Faith Foundation Mission Hospital, Nsukka, and Girls Guild; Secretary of various committees, and Editor in-chief of Trinity Magazine among others.
Kingsley has zeal and commitment to missions, intentional discipleship, nurturing Churches and raising change agents for the transformation of the society.
His daily desire is to know Christ and live Christ.
